The second installment of the Polish production of role-playing game, Two Worlds. The creators of Reality Pump primarily tried to improve the combat system and the visual setting, additionally supplementing the gameplay known from the first part of the program with a number of innovative solutions and ideas.
The action of Two Worlds II begins five years after the events of the first part. The land of Antaloor is ruled by the dark Gandohar, a ruler extremely eager to experiment with black magic. It draws its power from the soul of Kira, the sister of the main character, which, deprived of energy, gets weaker each day. Unfortunately, our ward cannot save her, because the last such attempt ended with his capture and imprisonment in the dungeon. Here the daredevil is serving his sentence, suffering regular torture and not hoping to improve his fate.
The situation changes when the prison is attacked by a group of orcs led by the Dragon Queen. The attackers in the blink of an eye reach the cell where the hero is, release him, and without hesitation offer an alliance. Former enemies want us to join them and help wrest Antaloor from Gandohar's hands. In this way, we will not only deal with all the evil in this world, but perhaps also save a sister whose strength is exhausted.
In the game we will visit many new locations, such as tropical jungle or hot savannah. Of course, there will be plenty of flora and fauna typical of these areas - we will come across rhinoceros, ostriches, reptiles and many other wild animals that you would not be able to find in the first Two Worlds. We can travel the world not only on foot, but also on horseback, as well as with the help of teleporters or even boats.
The authors decided to improve the combat model, which was extended with the possibility of actively blocking blows, which perfectly increases the number of possible combat tactics. It is also worth mentioning a completely new magic system and creating our own, countless combinations, spells, which we will use to fight specific opponents. In addition to the single player mode, Two Worlds II also offers a multiplayer offering several different game modes.
