The Steps of Installation
1. Open the front cover of the printer and remove the cartridge assembly out of the printer.
2. Place the cartridge assembly on a flat surface. Push down and hold the blue lock lever on the drum unit (left or right side) and remove the cartridge from the drum unit.
3. Unpack the new toner cartridge. Grasp both ends of the cartridge and gently the cartridge from side to side to evenly distribute toner inside.
4. Detach, and discard the protector from the new cartridge.
5. Align the pins on each end of the cartridge with the slots on the drum unit. Slide the cartridge into the drum unit and push down until it snaps into place.
6. Clean the Wire on the drum unit by gently sliding the blue tab from left to right and right to left several times. Be sure to return the tab to the Start position.
7. Put the cartridge assembly into the printer.
8. Shut the front cover.
