Compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, LI-ION batteries offer a number of advantages: Faster charging times: LI-ION batteries can be charged in less time, reducing truck downtime. No memory effect: They can be recharged at any time without the capacity diminishing over time. Longer service life: LI-ION batteries have a longer service life than lead-acid batteries, resulting in lower maintenance costs and less frequent replacement. Higher energy efficiency: Their improved energy efficiency results in longer run times between charges. Environmentally friendly: They contain no heavy metals and are more environmentally friendly to dispose of. Less maintenance: Unlike lead-acid batteries, LI-ION batteries do not need to be topped up regularly with distilled water. This saves a considerable amount of maintenance time and a cost-intensive aquamatic system.The LI-ION battery of the GSE12/4 is characterised by a high capacity of 280 Ah at a voltage of 24 V. This battery enables fast charging in just 5,5 h, which means that the forklift truck is quickly ready for use again, minimising operational interruptions. This design allows the GSE12/4 to fit effortlessly through most standard doors and gates, making it an ideal vehicle for in-plant transport. Despite its compact design, the truck has a relatively low tare weight of 2.085 kg, which makes it easy to manoeuvre and reduces ground pressure. This is particularly advantageous in sensitive working environments. The forklift truck has a very small wheelbase and a single wheel at the rear, which gives it an exceptionally small turning radius of just 1.508 mm. This small turning radius is ideal for manoeuvring in tight spaces, between rows of racking and increases flexibility when placing and removing pallets.Simple and convenient control directly from the driver's seatThe controls of the GSE12/4 are designed so that they can be conveniently controlled from the driver's seat.
