Nike Air Max Plus 'Pure Platinum'
Nike designer Sean McDowell drew upon an earlier sketch to create the iconic Air Max Plus, drawing inspiration from the undulating trees along the beach. This vision came to life in the form of the Tuned Air silhouette. In 1998, Nike introduced Tuned Air technology, which incorporates Nike Air units encased in protective rubber hemispheres, offering both responsive cushioning and enhanced stability and support. This particular Air Max Plus iteration boasts a white mesh base with gleaming platinum accents on the TPU overlays. The suede mudguard and tongue are rendered in a complementary beige, harmonizing with the plastic toe and midfoot shank plate. Yellow TN logos embellish the heel, while a black rubber outsole rounds off the design for a complete and stylish look.
