Nuaire Drimaster-ECO-NOX Loft Mounted PIV

Nuaire Drimaster-ECO-NOX Loft Mounted PIV

Nuaire Drimaster-ECO-NOX Loft Mounted PIV Product Part Number Nuaire Drimaster-ECO-NOX-HC (In Home Controls with Carbon Filters) - DRI-ECO-NOX-HC Nuaire Drimaster-ECO-NOX-HEAT (In Home Controls RF enabled WITH HEATER & CARBON FILTERS) - DRI-ECO-NOX-HEAT Description Nuaire Drimaster-ECO-NOX-HC By utilising Nuaire’s market-leading Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) strategy as well as two carbon cartridges inside of each ePM10 filter, the Drimaster ECO NOX eliminates condensation dampness, filters out harmful pathogens and particulate matter, and reduces the NOX levels within the home by up to 80%. Nuaire Drimaster-ECO-NOX-HEAT This model has a 400W heating element fitted on the diffuser. Cost-effective and simple to install ventilation solution that has proven to significantly improve indoor air quality, creating a healthy and comfortable living environment. This integrated heater tempers the airflow should the temperature in the loft space drop below a set point, ensuring ultimate comfort in the home. If the loft temperature becomes excessive the unit will switch to standby mode (no airflow). Once installed, the airflow can be set to suit the house size and, if required, the way it responds to the temperature changes within. This unit also comes with a 7 segment display in the ceiling diffuser, offering complete control at the touch of a button without needing access to the unit located in the loft space. A lock function can be used to ensure the system remains tamper-proof.

Compatibility Compatible with most other lead manufacturers for galvanised metal ducting Performance Solid rigid ducting is suitable for use in all buildings to provide superior airflow performance vs. comparative size rectangular or flexible PVC or aluminium duct. Suitable to use in compliance with Part F Building Regulations. Installation To provide the best performance in airtightness and durability we recommend you provide greater mechanical strength to a joint by using a combination of plastic ducting sealant and aluminium duct sealing tape Apply duct sealant to the male fitting Push together Apply aluminium duct sealing tape over joint Alternatively, you can use self-sealing fittings that speed up the time taken by up to 70% and can be easily dismantled Insulation of Ductwork It is important that any ducting located in a cold area (e.g. loft space) to be insulated. The insulation needs to be the equivalent of 25mm thick and have a thermal conductivity of 0.04W/(m.k) or less. This ensures that condensation doesn’t form due to the difference in air temperature inside the duct when compared to the air temperature in the cold space. If you don’t have a loft space there is still a need for insulated ducting on the intake and exhaust legs, as they will be carrying cold air in a warm space. The level of
