Colourful Round Elastic BandsWho says elastic bands have to be white or black and hidden away? Not us! With this elastic band, you'll make a little statement with your DIY project. DIY with elasticated cordYou can choose from several great colours to get the look you want. Choose a contrasting colour for a cool finish or go tone-on-tone - it's entirely up to you. We love this elastic as a drawstring in sweatshirts, but generally just use it as a cool extra detail that keeps the garment in place. Or maybe you want to create one of those DIY notice boards where elastic bands create a graphic pattern across the board? This elastic would also work super well for that purpose. With a width - or diameter - of 3 mm, this is a versatile elastic that can be used for many different projects. It is braided, made from polyester/latex and has a relatively firm elasticity. You get a cool elastic in a good and durable quality; the beautiful surface hides a collection of very thin elastic bands that ensure that the elastic keeps its firm elasticity. The elastic can be washed at 40° and must not be tumble dried.

In this fabric, we combine the two qualities, giving you a light and soft material with good breathability and comfortable stretch.  Colourful designs Whether you prefer black and white, earthy tones or vibrant colours – you'll find the entire colour palette in this fabric. Choose one or more favourites, get out your sewing machine, and sew your new outfit.  The material is suitable for almost all types of clothing, but of course, we have some favourites.  One of them is the classic top. Once you've found the right fit, you can easily change its look by simply choosing a new colour. Or how about making small adjustments in the design, so you have your favourite top with short, ¾, and long sleeves?  The fabric is suitable for much more than classic tops! Use it for dresses, leggings, trousers, and skirts. Find plenty of inspiration in our sewing patterns or design your own favourite.  A bit of practicality Viscose has been used for clothing for over 100 years. The fabric consists of processed and regenerated cellulose from sources like wood pulp or cotton waste. It's similar to natural fibres like cotton and silk. Here, the viscose is mixed with elastane (6%), giving you a stretchable viscose.  You choose the length you need for your sewing project. The fabric measures 145 cm in width and shrinks by 6% when washed.  When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterised by having a medium point – also known as ball point. This satin is a mix of polyester and cotton and is therefore particularly suitable for home furnishings, such as curtains and tablecloths.Satin refers to the way the fabric is woven. The composition of this satin gives you a material with an elegant semi-mat finish that emphasises the beautiful weave. TIP: Check your sewing machine's thread tension on a test piece before you start sewing. It's often a good idea to loosen the thread tension (you can tell if your fabric is stretched or the thread is forming small loops).
