Freudenberg’s iron-on canvas is a lightweight, soft and fusible interfacing made of 100 % cotton. The interfacing is 90 cm wide. Fix the interfacing WITHOUT steam. Just press for about 8-10 seconds at medium iron temperature (2 dots). Move the iron. Press firmly and continue until you have fused the adhesive on your sewing project. We recommend you to do a fuse test on a small piece of fabric before you start. Leave the pattern piece to cool before you start sewing. Iron-on canvas is ideal for use with light and medium-weight shirt fabrics and similar fabrics made of cotton. Use a lightweight interfacing to stabilise and stiffen small sections, such as collars, pockets and bodices on blouses, jackets, etc.

1 cm elastic band? You're welcome!When it comes to elastic bands, there are several things to consider. One of them is how wide you want the elastic to be. Another is how thick it is. Your project and purpose will determine which elastic you should choose. This elastic band is a flat with a width of ten millimetres. It is still considered a narrow elastic band, but with the extra millimetres you also get an elastic band that has a little more. For example, use the elastic in the drawstring at the bottom of the sleeves or to finish off baby and children's trousers so that the trouser legs stay in place while your child tumbles and plays.  This elastic is crocheted, made of polyester/rubber, washable at 40° and do not tumble dry.

Do you know the buttonhole elastic?It is exactly as the name describes: an elasticated buttonhole. But how come? Because you get even more flexibility in the waistband when you use buttonhole elastic. You simply sew in a button and then adjust the width at the waist by placing the button in the buttonhole that suits you. Elastic band for flexible useIt's great for those days when you're feeling bloated. It's great if you have a design that fits both your waist and your hips, so you can change your look from time to time. And it's great when you lend your clothes to friends and you might not be wearing the same size. In general, it just gives you a lot of flexibility! The elastic is relatively firm made of polyester and rubber. Or when you study the clothes you already love to wear. More information about the elastic bandThis 50 mm wide elastic is great for the drawstring in the waistband of your trousers and skirts. We love it for our yoga pants, for example: the elastic makes sure they stay in place no matter what exercise we do (even when we're just walking around the house on a Saturday watering flowers). This elastic is made from a mix of polyester and rubber; it is crocheted and relatively firm in quality. It can be washed at 40° and cannot be tumble dried.

The fabric is glossy with the same colour on the front and back.     Need anything else for your curtains?  Search for "Curtain Accessories", and find everything you need for your new blackout curtains.     Good to know about blackout curtains  When sewing with your blackout curtain fabric, it's essential to note that the needle can leave tiny holes in the fabric. Once the curtain is hung, these appear as small points of light in the seams. Therefore, we recommend that you minimise the number of holes in your fabric by sewing with a longer stitch length (and possibly a thinner needle).     A few more details  The fabric is made of 100% polyester. It's the kind you use when the elastic is part of your design - when you want the elastic to be seen and create an effect! The elastic is made of polyester and rubber; it has a good firm elasticity that lasts. Here's where you can use the elastic bandWe love it in the waistband of gorgeous skirts - from pencil skirts to sundresses - the elastic just adds a lovely effect at the waist and is comfortable at the same time. You can rest assured that your skirt will stay right where it's supposed to, no matter how wild you dance. We've also grown quite fond of it in yoga trousers; the wide waistband is really comfortable and ensures that the trousers fit well without being tight. In general, we can just say: Use the elastic on projects where you want a wide visible elastic edge - whether it's on a cool skirt or a pair of cool baggy trousers - it's entirely up to you and your imagination. The elastic can be washed at 40° and must not be tumble dried.

Our acrylic coated woven oilcloth fabrics have a matte surface very similar to regular fabric cloth. They add a touch of elegance and luxury to any home décor. Always use the tablecloth with the acrylic coated side facing upwards. You can easily wipe of foods and beverages of the oilcloth, however, be aware of types like ketchup, sauces, oil dressings, lemonade and the like can leave stains. Always wipe of immediately with a damp cloth, wrung in warm water if necessary, with a little detergent. It prolongs the service life. For stubborn stains, you can wash the tablecloth at 30 degrees in the washing machine, but do not use the spin cycle and tumble dryer. We recommend ironing the tablecloth after each wash to activate the water and dirt-repelling treatment. Remember to iron the tablecloth on the back. Note: This type of oilcloth is not suitable for damp outdoor environments. Remember to always bring the tablecloth inside after outdoor use. Can be discoloured by the sun. Note! All our oilcloths are free from harmful chemicals. With a purchase of 10 metres or more of the same product number, the oilcloth is delivered rolled up on a tube.
