For example, instead of sending men to the Moon using the Lunar Orbit Rendezvous (LOR) approach used by Project Apollo in the late 1960s and early 1970s, you will be able to rewrite history and use either the alternative Gemini Earth Orbit Rendezvous (EOR) or Gemini Direct Ascent (DA) schemes. Story Action Shadow Empire takes place in a universe in which mankind began the conquest of space, but soon after its civilization collapsed. The player takes on the role of the leader of the nation inhabiting one of the colonized planets, set in post-apocalyptic realities evoking associations, among others with Mad Max movies . Over time - as technology develops - the atmosphere of the game gradually changes and we get a more classic science fiction setting. Gameplay Shadow Empire is a fairly typical 4X turn - based strategy , in which the player takes on the role of the leader of a small faction. Our main task is to lift a civilization from the ruins and then build a powerful interplanetary empire. The gameplay boils down to observing maps, analyzing statistics and making decisions. We manage the population and navigate in the difficult political reality of the post-apocalyptic world - we have to arrange or fight, among others with syndicates and leaders of various cults. We also recruit supporters and take care of diplomacy, thanks to which we build relations with our neighbors . We are helped by the so-called stratagems - these are complete plans covering a number of actions that we can implement with one click. The player cannot neglect space exploration, where you can find a number of useful resources (including rare metals, water, fuel). We often have to compete with other factions for valuable resources. When it comes to fighting, we control our troops directly by moving our troops to the so-called hexes (we have over a hundred types of formations here) and taking care, among others, for morale or supply. We also decide on the equipment of individual units. Technology ,logistic and supply chains Discover and research over 100 different fields of technology.The game starts at a low level of technology as your nation drags itself out of the ruins of a galactic collapse, but at the end of the tech tree you’ll find knowledge that allows you to build exciting technologies such as ICBMs, laser guns, atomic missile launchers, walkers, shield-generators and more.
