Designed to cater for disabled swimmers, the Oxford Dipper Pool Hoist is perfect for use by swimming pools, therapy pools and quayside locations with a specification that is highly functional and easy to use. Its unique design along with its stainless steel construction allows for full integration with the pool or quayside environment and will ensure a life span of 10 years. The market-leading Dipper Pool Hoist is a proven, extremely reliable and safe method of gaining access to the water and has an exceptional weight capacity of 140 kgs (22 stone). This Poolside Dipper Hoist is available with either a spreader bar that is designed to support Oxford Slings. It is also available with a Ranger Commode and Transporter which is a chair component that is mounted on sturdy castors and provides a comfortable means of transport to the poolside. When the Ranger reaches the hoist component, the seat can be lifted from its wheeled base, repositioned over the water and then gently lowered. To ensure the Oxford Dipper is suitable for use by almost any pool or quayside location it is available with a range of fixgins; Socket A, Socket B and Socket C. Socket A is designed for use with a solid concrete substrate. Socket B is designed for use with tiled floors, next to a water channel. It requires at least 205mm (8") of underlying concrete in order to be secure. Socket C is intended for use on a special base plate that is then fitted above a concrete floor. N.B. The Oxford Dipper Pool Hoist MUST be purchased with a fitting socket, unless an old Hoist is being replaced!! To promote optimum comfort and support, the MultiFit Sling also comes with deluxe "paddle" style legs. This range of Oxford Slings is available in a range of 12 sizes, with each size coming with colour-coded bindings, they are also available in an SL style fit, this style is designed to ensure maximum comfort for users with larger legs. The slings have been specifically designed for quick and easy positioning behind the patient. Oxford slings are machine washable with a mild soap up to 71 degrees, but are not suitable for tumble drying or biological detergents.
