Take the manual work out of plucking feathers using this highly efficient 60cm poultry plucker. An essential piece of kit for those in the farming industry or abattoirs, this easy-to-use defeathering machine is suitable for use with medium sized birds such as chicken, turkey, and duck. Made using hard-wearing stainless steel, the machine is extremely robust and built to withstand heavy use. Lined with 132 pre-fitted flexible rubber fingers, they quickly and effectively remove feathers by rubbing up against the poultry. The base of the drum is fitted with a spinning disc which moves the birds around the machine to ensure all parts of the bird come into contact with the fingers for a clean removal. Electrically powered, this 3HP machine is generously sized with an extra wide opening and a 60cm x 39cm barrel. With only an on/off switch to consider, all you have to do is turn the plucker on, place the poultry inside the drum and let it get to work removing feathers from up to 8 birds at once!
