The range relay feature displays the ranged distance on your paired Garmin smartwatch, handheld, or Garmin Golf smartphone app. For added convenience, the Approach Z30 includes a built-in magnetic cart mount and a Find My Garmin feature via the Garmin Golf app to help you locate the device if misplaced.  SEND DISTANCE MEASUREMENTS TO THE DEVICE The new Range Relay feature transmits laser distance measurements to compatible GPS devices and the Garmin Golf app. The receiving device displays a laser range arc of the measured distance. FLAG FINDER When the pin is captured, the device vibrates to notify you. The distance to the pin and the front and back edges of the green are displayed through the finder. Requires pairing with a compatible device. DISTANCE (RECOMMENDED DISTANCE TO HIT) Displays the recommended distance to hit, taking into account elevation differences. In addition, by linking with the watch, the recommended distance is calculated taking into account wind and weather conditions. If the compatible watch supports "PlaysLike Distance" which takes into account wind and air density. FIND YOUR GEAR If you accidentally leave your rangefinder on the course, you can get its location on the Garmin Golf app on your smartphone.
