Prepared for PC Orwell: Ignorance is Strength is an unusual game in which you can find the features of a simulator and an adventure game. The plot of this title is inspired by both reality (e.g. the growing importance of social media and the so-called fake news) and popular political thrillers. Osmotic Studios is responsible for creating this production and it is a continuation of Orwell: Keeping an Eye on You from 2016. In Orwell: Ignorance is Strength, we play the role of one of the people working in the mysterious "Office" and responsible for overseeing the top-secret Orwell listening program. From his boss - the so-called Orwell's advisers, Ampleford - we are given the task of discovering the reasons behind the recently escalating political tension in the country. To do this, we will have to examine the lives of several people: Raban Vhart, the editor-in-chief of The People's Voice, his wife Karen, and brother Illya. We will decide for ourselves how far we will go for our country. Is the truth sacred? Or is ignorance a force? Orwell: Ignorance is Strength, released on PC, is quite an unusual production. The gameplay focuses here on reading (e.g. from Orwell's profiles of various people, or articles on websites, statements of fictitious people in social media or private e-mails and conversations), analyzing the acquired information and making decisions. Time plays an important role in the production of Osmotic Studios. The player has to make decisions about what to do in specific parts of the day, as well as how to react to new, sudden events.

Using old school command prompts and real hacking processes, you’ll solve the mystery with minimal hand-holding and a rich world full of secrets to explore.  Story At Hacknet, our task is to uncover the truth behind the death of Bit - the hacker responsible for developing the most perfect security system in history. Fourteen days after his last login, the Hacknet-OS system he created began to send automatic messages to one of the users. It is played by the player, who from now on has to follow the instructions developed by a specialist, gradually delving into the next lines of code. Gameplay Hacknet  stands out from similar thematic games due to its original approach to hacking. There is no place here for breaking more and more difficult security features in a glamorous, truly Hollywood style. Instead, the whole action of the game takes place in dialog boxes, and during the game we use real commands known from the UNIX system. In this way, we search for new clues and discover corporate secrets. Undoubtedly, this has a positive effect on the so-called immersion, as does the fact that the production tries to hide at all costs that it is a video game - we will not find here a characteristic division into stages or a fancy interface. Players unfamiliar with the meanders of coding can use the hint systemthat will introduce them to the basic principles of digital reality.
