To increase detection coverage the EV1100 series sensors incorporate a 3-step gliding focus which produces 11 continuous curtains to detect infrared signals up to a 16m distance.5D is the next generation of Aritech signal processing. It builds on the current strengths of 4D but adds an intelligent differentiation between fast and slow moving signals.When a slow thermal source is detected the signal processing switches automatically to the 5D mode and executes additional pattern recognition to distinct this signal from a slow walking person. If the signal fits it must be an intruder and an alarm is generated. The DGP can be expanded to a total of 32 inputs and 32 outputs. It has a built-in 3 A switched mode power supply.Data Gathering PanelsData Gathering Panels DGPs are used to expand the number of alarm inputs in an ATS MASTER ATS Classic system. DGPs allow inputs and outputs relays to be connected at a location remote from an ATS Classic panel. DGPs communicate via poll reply messages. Detectors door contacts and other detection devices are connected to DGPs that report any change of state to the control panel for processing. Available DGPs include support for conventional devices wireless devices as well as intelligent addressable devices. A special DGP available supports expansion of four intelligent doors or lifts.System databus connectionThe system databus is used to connect Data Gathering Panels as well as keypads and readers RASs to the ATS classic control panel. Remote devices can be up to 1.5 km from an ATS control panels when using the preferred wiring and cable types. Arming stations and Data Gathering Panels have to be connected via a 2 pair twisted and shielded data cable to the system databus connection to achieve this. WCAT 52 is recommended. Daisy chain is the preferred wiring method. The shield of the data cable should be connected to earth at the ATS control panel and should be left disconnected at any other end.

The detector can safely and reliably detect glass breakage on both small and large objects as well as on single or multiple glazed objects.The GS930 is an intelligent audio glass break detector using the latest microprocessor technology. The acoustic signals in the room to be monitored are recorded with a wide-band microphone. The data are then analysed 80 times a second to determine whether there has been an actual breakage of framed glass. A unique signal processing algorithm is used so no adjustment is necessary for various types and sizes of glass.The special 3 x 3 signal processing algorithms are based on the analysis of 3 different parameters peak amplitude signal duration and ambient average in 3 different frequency ranges low infrasound mid sound and high ultrasonic that permit safe and reliable detection of glass breakage.
