The front panel status indicators show Power Overload and Output Level 10 and 100 output level for both amplifiers.The audio inputs to each amplifier are presented on separate RJ45 connectors. The outputs are presented on two 3-way plugcage clamp termination connectors providing 50V or 100V output. The 24V DC inputs are presented on two 2-way crimp connected sockets. The power output stages of the amplifiers are protected against overload conditions i.e. short circuits or abnormal loads.Should an amplifier be subjected to an abnormal load the input to the relevant power amplifier is attenuated to a safe level and the Overload LED will be illuminated. The front panel status indicators show Power Overload and Output Level 10 and 100 output level. The audio input is presented on two separate RJ45 connectors. The output is presented on two 3-way plugcage clamp termination connectors providing 50V or 100V output. The 24V DC input is presented on a two 2-way crimp connected socket.The power output stage of the amplifier is protected against overload conditions i.e. short circuits or abnormal loads. Should an amplifier be subjected to an abnormal load the input to the relevant power amplifier is attenuated to a safe level and the Overload LED will be illuminated. Baldwin Boxall Line Vox Unit BT10The BT10 is a universal interface module. Connect the input of the BT10 to either a 100 Volt loudspeaker line or the line level output from a telephone switch.The output at either microphone or line level can be fed into an amplifier. When a signal of a sufficient level is received at the input the Vox circuit will operate and it will be passed via the output into the amplifier.In addition the unit has a switched 0V available on the ACC terminal to access the amplifier. E.G. When using one of our amplifiers take a connecting wire from the ACC terminal to pin 5 on the appropriate input socket.The Vox circuit is designed to ensure that there will not be any unwanted noise appearing at the amplifier input and being relayed through the loudspeakers.A pre-set control allows adjustment of the Vox sensitivity. To set it adjust the control so that it only switches on when a suitable signal level is present.The TEST LED will illuminate when the Vox has operated and the access will be switched ON. The gain pre-set adjusts the gain of the unit and is factory pre-set at x 2 6 dB.It can be used to compensate for different input signal levels. The unit is powered from either mains or 24 VDC.If both are connected in the event of mains failure there will be automatic switch over to the 24VDC and the unit will continue to operate.

Baldwin Boxall Impedance Monitor BVLAMThe BVLAM provides 8 zone 100V line relay switching loudspeaker zone selection from 1 amplifier.It incorporates impedance monitoring on all 8 loudspeaker lines when the zone is not selected. If the load increases impedance decreases the appropriate fault LED illuminates steady and if the load decreases impedance increases the fault LED will flash.The impedance changes for a fault to be detected is selected to either 20 or 40 using the mode DIL switch 8. If the impedance falls to approximately 50 of its original value the line is considered to be short circuit and will not be selected to the amplifier.All 8 zone select inputs will access when it is between 2 to 6.5V. An open circuit access input above 15V will be indicated by the appropriate fault LED flashing and a short circuit access input below 2V by the fault LED illuminating steady.Under all fault conditions the OK LED will extinguish and the common fault relay volt-free contacts to change state.Key FeaturesRack-mountable unit 1U high. Baldwin Boxall VIGIL2 Quad 50W Class D Amplifier BV050QThe Vigil2 BV050Q contains four independent 50 Watt Class D Power amplifiers each with one 500 mV balanced input and a 50 Watt 100V Line output. The front panel status indicators show Supply Healthy Overload Over Temperature and Output Level 10 and 100 max output level for each amplifier. The Active Indicator illuminates when the amplifier is not in Sleep Mode. CLASS D amplifiers are 80 efficient therefore reducing unwanted heat dissipation and power input requirements. Rated output power is obtainable using a 22V battery supply.The BV050Q has a Sleep mode automatically reducing the standby current requirement to typically 50mA per amplifier when operating on batteries. Channel gain may be individually set using the potentiometers on the board behind the front panel. The audio inputs to the amplifiers are presented on separate RJ45 connectors each connector providing the balanced audio input and a ground connection. The outputs are presented on 6-way plugscrew termination connectors providing 50V or 100V output. The 24V DC input is presented on a 2-way crimp connected plug and socket. The power output stage of the amplifier is protected against overload conditions i.e. short circuits or abnormal loads etc. Should the amplifier be subjected to an abnormal load the input to the power amplifier is attenuated to a safe level.The amplifiers output voltage is also sensed and should it exceed 100V the input signal will be attenuated ensuring safe operation without creating unnecessary distortion.
