Apollo Series 65 Sav-wire Base 45681-206APO

Apollo Series 65 Standard Base - 45681-200APO

Apollo Series 65 CR Heat Detector - 55000-132APO

Apollo Series 65 CR Heat Detector - 55000-132APO

Apollo Series 65 CR Heat Detector - 55000-132APOThe Series 65 Heat Detector monitors temperature by using a dual thermistor network which provides a voltage output proportional to the external air temperature. There are 12 heat detectors in the Series 65 range designed to suit a wide variety of operating conditions. Apollo Series 65 smoke heat detector range are a direct replacement for the earlier Series 60 devices. Series 65 detectors have a wide voltage range 9-33 volt DC and can be integrated on to security systems when used with the 12 volt relay base 45681-508.The heat detector operates by using a matched pair of thermistors to sense heat. One thermistor is exposed to the ambient temperature the other is sealed. In normal conditions the two thermistors register similar temperatures but on the development of a fire the temperature recorded by the exposed thermistor will increase rapidly resulting in an imbalance of the thermistors and causing the detector to change to the alarm state.A1R BR and CR are Rate of Rise detectors designed to detect a fire as the temperature increases but they also have a fixed upper limit at which the detector will go into alarm if the rate of temperature increase has been too slow to trigger the detector earlier.Key Features Can be used for applications where smoke detectors are unsuitableIdeal for environments that are dirty or smoky under natural conditionsWide operating voltageFlashing LED and magnet operated test switch option

Apollo Series 65 Diode Base 45681-201APO

Apollo Series 65 Diode Base 45681-201APO

Apollo Series 65 Diode Base 45681-201The Series 65 Diode Base is designed for use with conventional systems that have manual call points and detector bases on the same circuit. The base is fitted with a schottky diode on the L1 IN and L1 OUT wiring terminals. This base can only be used with compatible control equipment.OperationAll detectors in the Series 65 range fit into Series 60 standard mounting bases. The bases are of 100mm diameter and have five terminals marked according to their function Line 1 in line 1 out line 2 in and out remote indicator negative earth. Detectors are polarity insensitive so that identification of positive and negative lines is only required if a remote LED is fitted. An earth connection is not required for either safety or correct operation of detectors. The earth terminal is provided for tidy termination of earthed conductors or cable screens and to maintain earth continuity where necessary. Bases have a wide interior diameter for ease of access to cables and terminals and there are two slots for fixing screws at a spacing of 51 to 69mm. Detectors fit into bases one way only and require clockwise rotation without push force to be plugged in.Key FeaturesDetector locking mechanismOne way fitEasy to wireContains an earth connectorContinues to work during unauthorised removal of detectorsBrand FeaturesWide-operating voltage of 933 V DCWide-operating and storage temperature of -20C to 60CCan be used on security systemsElectrically and mechanically compatible with Series 60Proven detection performance

Apollo SA5501-300APO Open-Area Sounder White Body

Apollo SA5501-300APO Open-Area Sounder White Body

Apollo SA5501-300APO Open-Area Sounder White BodyThe Intelligent Open-Area Sounder is designed for use inopen-areas and can be connected to anyCoreProtocol Discovery or XP95 system. The Intelligent Open-Area Sounder includes features such as groupand individual control status reporting and selectable tone and volume settings all configuredthrough the fire control panel. The right tone for the installationThe Intelligent Open-Area Sounder offers a choice of 15 evacuationtones including the standard Apollo evacuation tone. A tone is selected during commissioning inorder to suit local regulations or customs.Whichever evacuation tone is selected there is a secondary tonewhich may be used for alerting or warning of a possible evacuation. The right level of soundThe sounder is set during commissioning to one of sevenlevels of sound the highest level being nominally 101 dbA at 1m. At lessthan 60 dbA the lowest level falls outside the scope of the EN54 standard. Ithas been included to provide a very local warning for the use of personnel in particularenvironments such as nurse stations in hospitals.AddressingThe Open-Area Alarm Devices respond to their own individual address which is set via the appropriate XPERTaddress card. Group address and tones on CoreProtocol systems are set using the fire control panel.Location-specific volume settingDetectors and sounder indicators are installed in manydifferent types of environment. When configuring the Intelligent Open-Area Sounder devicesthe adjustment of the volume can be done at the point of installation. The commissioning engineer simply sets the control panel to Set-upand then walks from one device to the next to set the required volume using amagnetic wand. When all devices have been set the engineer simply presses abutton on the control panel which then registers all the individual volumesettings.Key FeaturesAdjustable tone and volume 15 tone pairs seven volume levelsSoftware defined group addressing with up to 16 group addressesAlarm switching by individual device by group address or ofall individual devices on the loopBuilt-in controllable isolatorSet-up and testing of devices at point of installationUnique acoustic self-test
