Ion Maiden is a retro first-person shooter. The production was developed by the Voidpoint studio founded by the authors of numerous modifications to the Duke Nukem 3D game. Among them were many map makers, as well as practically the entire team behind the EDuke32 project.
The game is a prequel to the 2016 isometric shooter Bombshell by the now defunct Interceptor Entertainment studio. The action takes place in the future, and we play the role of a mercenary named Shelly Harrison, the title Bombshell, who has to fight an army of aliens.
