Filliers Premium Grain Vodka Distilling for over five generations, the Filliers distillery was initially only a side venture to their farming venture. It's this history, dating from 1880 that ensures Filliers create delicious and well loved drinks. They do as much on-site as they can. They pump their own spring water, gind the grain, create their own fruit and herb distillates, ferment, distill and age. In 2006 Filliers acquired a local brand called 'Van Hoorebeke'. At that this, this was the oldest spirit brand in Belgium and dated back to 1792. They were the creators of the first Belgian Vodka. Combining their experience and the legacy of their acquisition, Filliers Master Distillers created a new triple distilled grain Vodka, which is distilled in Deinze, Belgium.  This is a vodka which has a pure nose with delicate hints of grain and herbs. On the pallet these come through too with wheat and coriander being joined by rye. It has a lingering aftertaste which is soft and smooth. More from Filliers Perfect Serve Being truly versatile as well as soft and smooth, this vodka is easily enjoyed straight, over ice, in cocktails or long drinks.  For a classic try a Moscow Mule. Fill a mule mug with ice and add 50ml of vodka, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice (you can use the wedge as a garnish after). Fill the mug with your favourite ginger beer (we like Double Dutch) - around 150ml works well. Stir gently, and enjoy!

Ableforth's Summer Fruit Cup Since their founding in 2011, Ableforth's have been making drinks that the founders (three friends) would enjoy themselves. They took inspiration from the past, looking at drinks which had robust, fresh - yet unusual flavours. In fact, they just wanted to ensure a "range of really bloody tasty spirits'. For their Summer Fruit Cup they wanted to "bottle summer". By this they meant creating a delicious drink which captures not just the flavours, but the feeling that a warm sunny day brings. To do this they macerate fresh strawberries, cucumber, orange and mint before vacuum distilling to extract the maximum amount of flavour. This distillate is then blended with their award winning Bathtub Gin as well as a mix of sweet Italian Vermouths, and a triple sec liqueur. They then add a blend of herbs and spices to ensure the perfect balance. The result gives a deep and complex nose which is full of spice, fruit and even a hint of cocoa. As the aroma develops the signature botanicals (cucumber, strawberry and orange) all come through. The taste is deliciously intense, but not at all over-powering. All the botanicals are given their time to shine, but it's the strawberry and a hit of refreshing fresh mint which really please the mouth. It finishes long and especially smooth with the mint, orange, cucumber and strawberries all lingering on the palate. Mix 50ml of the Summer Fruit Cup with 100ml of your chosen mixer over plenty of ice. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a sliced strawberry.

This, their Wild Strawberry they create using their original grain vodka, and a distillate of Belgian Wild Strawberries. These grow only in Belgian forests, and result in a sweeter, fruity addition to Filliers Vodka range. With its delicate pink colour, this vodka has a unique sweet aroma full of strawberry and cranberry notes. The flavour is also full of sweet, fruity strawberries which are balanced by the pure grain aromas. The drink finishes long and fruity, leaving a dry aftertaste. For something delicious try a Wild Strawberry Cosmo Cocktail. Chill a martini glass by filling with some crushed ice. Whilst cooling, take a cocktail shaker filled with ice and add 50ml of the strawberry vodka, 30ml of Cointreau, 30ml of cranberry juice, and 20ml of fresh lime juice. Shake well. Empty the ice from the martini glass and strain your cosmo into the glass. Garnish with a fre fresh strawberries.
