This hands-free membrane is designed for use with Medela breast pumps. It allows you to pump hands-free, giving you more freedom and flexibility. Replace any defective or worn-out parts. • Breast milk should never be heated in a microwave or boiled. Microwaving can cause uneven heating of the milk, which can result in serious burns in the baby’s mouth (microwaving may also alter the composition of the breast milk). • Clean and sterilize all parts that come into contact with the breast and breast milk before the first use. • Only use parts recommended by Medela with your breast pump. • If pumping is uncomfortable or painful, turn off the breast pump and release the breast shield by placing a finger between the breast and the shield, then remove the breast shield from the breast. • Although it may feel a bit uncomfortable the first time you use a breast pump, it should never be painful.
