Trash Sailors is an action adventure game enriched with survival and roguelike elements. The production was developed by the independent Polish studio fluckyMachine, which has a platformer called Escape Doodland in its portfolio, and was released by QubicGames.The action of Trash Sailors takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, which was largely underwater as a result of a powerful tsunami. During the game, we take control of the duo of the title sailors trying to find a piece of dry land for themselves.The fun in Trash Sailors begins with choosing one of four characters. It is important because they have been diversified in terms of specialization; while Draska is the most experienced sailor, "a little good at everything" Francis is a kind of handyman, Herman is slow but tough, while fast but weak Mary is his complete opposite. There is nothing else for us to do but to move on to the actual game.The action is shown here from the third person perspective (TPP). While sailing through five different procedurally generated locations, we have to avoid obstacles, collect floating items and transform them into useful resources, as well as face numerous enemies. Among the latter, we can find not only wild animals such as alligators, aggressive penguins, giant octopuses or even bloodthirsty sharks, but also representatives of hostile tribes. We eliminate them by using weapons installed on board our raft or by hand-to-hand combat. Besides, the weather is a threat - sailing in Egyptian darkness, in fog that restricts visibility, or during a thunderstorm can be quite a challenge. All this, combined with the dynamics of the game, means that the key to success is cooperation with our companion.The resources obtained from the title rubbish are used to repair damage and improve the raft. In addition, during the game, we acquire various costumes for our pupils.
