X-Com: Terror From the Deep Steam CD Key

A sequel to X-COM: Enemy Unknown, developed by MicroProse studio, in which players take control of the title organization to once again defend the Earth against the invasion of an alien civilization. The production is a turn-based strategy and brings a number of novelties and improvements over the original. The year 2040. Four decades have passed since the long and bloody war with aliens, which was presented in the first installment of the series. The still active transmitter of an alien civilization awakens extraterrestrials that have been dormant for millions of years under the surface of the oceans. Aliens begin to terrorize waters around the globe, destroying ships and ports and kidnapping thousands of people for their gruesome experiments. National governments decide to reactivate the X-COM organization, which successfully repelled the attack of hostile newcomers forty years earlier. The player is at its head.X-COM: Terror from the Deep is a strategy game that combines elements of real-time base management and turn-based battles in arenas presented in isometric projection. The players' task is to build bases, conduct scientific research, recruit new members of the organization, including soldiers sent into battle, as well as making dozens of other organizational decisions. When the visitors from another world meet, the confrontation begins. The fights are turn-based, and players must direct their available subordinates in such a way as to eliminate all opponents, avoiding losses on their own side. They do this by choosing from several actions available in a given turn. An important role in the game is to obtain technologies and bodies of opponents from the battlefields, which can be used for scientific research and allow you to discover new weapons or useful items.Compared to the original, Terror from the Deep introduces several significant novelties. The authors have prepared a set of completely new weapons and enemies to better fit the realities of the war fought mainly under water. Soldiers can now also be equipped with melee weapons to be able to successfully duel with aliens in close combat. A new scientific development tree has also been developed for the game.

Sid Meier's Starships Steam CD Key

Sid Meier's Starships Steam CD Key

Sid Meier's Starships is the next installment of the popular series of turn-based strategies. This time, however, we leave the surface of the planets and move to outer space - this is where we try to defeat other factions. Unlike the immediate predecessor, Civlization: Beyond Earth, in Starships we do not manage a colony in an alien world, but a fleet of ships. The game is developed by a team created by the Firaxis Games studio, headed by Sid Meier himself, the creator of the series. Starships begins when human civilization receives a call for help from a distant planet. Without hesitating, earthly leaders decide to send an armed expedition to help an unknown sender. After reaching the destination, we must not only achieve the main goal, but also carry out side missions that will save the inhabitants of a distant galaxy from extinction. The whole story takes place shortly after the events of Beyond Earth, which is why we will meet the leaders known from the previous installment of the series. The game differs in its assumptions from its predecessors - not only takes us into outer space, but also forces a different approach to the game. Instead of building an intergalactic empire, our primary task is to protect individual planets and combat regularly emerging threats. The fight itself takes place on the basis of a turn-based system, and each of the tasks takes place on a separate map, the vast majority of which is procedurally generated. After completing the required number of missions in a given sector, it becomes attached to our intergalactic federation. Then we can build our own buildings in its area, improving the economy of the empire. Due to the action taking place in space, Starships lacks classic units and has been replaced by powerful ships. The player can freely modify and improve them, e.g. by increasing the thickness of the armor or speed, or by adding the masking ability. We will also create some of the units ourselves from scratch, deciding not only about their combat capabilities, but also their shape and appearance. Traditionally, there is a technology tree in the game. Many of the branches of science and development are entirely fictional and based on futurological guesswork. Traditionally, victory can be achieved in several ways, i.e. by eliminating opponents, taking over a sufficiently large part of the galaxy, building the required number of so-called miracles or achieving a significant scientific advantage. Starships is based on a graphics engine that has already been used in Civilization V and Civilization: Beyond Earth. Due to the fact that they are intended not only for desktop computers, but also for mobile devices, the creators decided to simplify the production, allowing less advanced equipment to support the production.
