The TN-400 abrasive notcher from Baileigh Industrial is on the cutting edge of abrasive notching technology and is perfect for coping the ends of 3/4" OD to 2" OD tubing or pipe at almost any angle from 0 to 60. The TN-400 uses a 3hp motor running on 220 volt, single phase power to spin the 79 x 4 belt at a speed of 5420 per minute. \n \nThe TN-400 does require a special mandrel for each size of tube or pipe that you want to notch, but it does feature a quick-change mandrel system that allows the operator to change it in seconds. \n \nThe vice on the TN-400 abrasive notcher is where the real magic happens. The vice carriage rides on a smooth Thompson shaft assembly during the notching cycle. \n \nThe control lever is pivoted making the material press into the belt. The vice is self-centering for perfect belt positioning every time. \n \nThe jaws on the vice are of a V-block design to keep the material centre with the notching spindle and to hold the part more securely. \n \nThe TN-400 has a carriage stop for repeatable notches every time.

The TN-300 tube and pipe notcher from Baileigh Industrial is the best production hole saw notcher on the market today. \n \nThis 220 volt, 50hz, single phase notcher is built using only the best components. The idea of the TN-300 was to get rid of the hand drill of the TN-250 and make a better tool for the fabricators. By building a rigid base and tying all the components together, we were able to reduce vibration created from the holesaw itself as it went through the material. \n \nNext we changed the RPM of the holesaw bit to 233rpm. This speed seemed to give the best combination of saw life and speed of cut. \n \nBoth of these changes helped make a more accurate cut and increase the life of the saws, saving time and money. \n \nThe TN-300 can notch from 1/2" to 3" (13mm to 76mm) tube. \n \nThe vice has a quick release feature so different notch angles can be set up in a second or two and locked-in with a solid taper lock. A large degree wheel for indexing the vice is also included. \n \nOperation of the TN-300 is easy. Turn it on, grab the hand wheel and rotate it toward the material. The carriage rides on a solid V-block roller assembly that pushes the holesaw into the material with limited vibration.
