Alerta Sensaflex Heel Slope Mattress
The Alerta Sensaflex Heel Slope Mattresses are purposefully designed for those patients considered to be at a very high risk of developing pressure sores. Highly versatile, these Sensaflex Mattress are perfect for use within all hospital, nursing and care home environments. These Mattresses boast a memory foam filling with a high-density base, a memory foam top and a sloping heel section with gel-infused memory foam, therefore, ensuring ultimate levels of comfort and pressure relief. For enhanced pressure-relieving properties, the mattress is designed with a section of v-cut base foam which creates additional air movement. The 5000 option of the Sensaflex Mattress has an additional built-in side wedge support that prevents the user from rolling over the edge of the mattress, reducing risk of falling out of bed. Also provides anti-entrapment by preventing users limbs from becoming trapped in side rails. For maximum hygiene purposes, the cover on the Mattress can be laundered in a washing machine, up to 65˚C for no less than 10 minutes or 95˚C for no less than 3 minutes. The cover can be tumble dried on low heat and the temperature must not exceed 60˚C. The foam can be autoclaved at 134˚C.
