Cyanocobalamin Tablets 50mcg Vitamin B12 50 Tablets

Cyanocobalamin Tablets 50mcg Vitamin B12 50 Tablets

What do Vitamin B12 Tablets do?  Vitamin B12 plays an essential role in the normal function of your immune system, red blood cell formation and homocysteine metabolism. Most people get enough vitamin B12 from their  diet, but those following a vegetarian or vegan diet may be deficient. It’s also possible to be deficient, even if you eat a varied diet, and some health conditions can increase your risk of vitamin B12 deficiency, including intestinal or stomach problems. Vitamin B12 deficiency may leave you feeling tired and fatigued. This is because vitamin B12 is essential for the production of red blood cells that transport oxygen around the body. You may get out of breath while walking or climbing the stairs or you may notice you have headaches or feel faint. This is called folate deficiency anemia. A blood test can confirm if you are deficient in vitamin B12. Cyanocobalamin is a synthetic version of vitamin B12, which means it is man-made. By taking this vitamin B12 supplement regularly, you will top-up the B12 being produced by your body, and help alleviate any symptoms you have been suffering from. It’s important that you consult a medical professional when changing or starting any medication, and be sure to follow the dosage instructions from your doctor or healthcare professional to ensure you safely enjoy the benefits of this supplement. Ingredients Each coated tablet contains Cyanocobalamin (as Vitamin B12) 50mcg Also contains Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Purified Talc, Colloidal Anhydrous silica, Magnesium Stearate. 4head Quick Strip Pack of 4

4head Quick Strip Pack of 4

4head Quickstrip Cooling Strips are advanced gel patches that provides instant cooling relief from the pain of headaches and migraines by helping to relax tense head and neck muscles. Each gel patch provides up to 6 hours of pain relief, leaving you able to get on with your day, pain-free. Directions  For adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Make sure the skin is dry before applying the QuickStrip, and avoid contact with hair, clothing and fabrics (otherwise the strip will not stick very well). Open the resealable sachet by carefully cutting or tearing it where indicated at the top. Remove one 4head QuickStrip, then fold the top of the sachet twice to reseal it (and prevent the remaining strip from drying out). Remove and discard the transparent film from the back of the strip. Apply strip and use for as long as needed. For best results, use each strip only once. Warnings Use only as directed. Keep the strip away from the eyes, nostrils and mouth. Do not apply to areas of broken or irritated skin. Do not use in cases of allergy (hypersensitivity) to the strip. Faint skin redness can occur, and in rare cases the cooling sensation can initially feel intense. Because the product is volatile (i.e. liable to give off a small amount of vapour), in rare cases it may cause temporary, mild watering of the eyes. Remove the strip and stop using this is any side effect becomes unacceptable, or in very rare cases of skin allergy (itching and/or swelling), or if you notice any other side effect not mentioned in the leaflet. If headaches persist, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Viscotears Liquid Gel For Dry Eyes - 10g

Viscotears Liquid Gel For Dry Eyes - 10g

Viscotears Gel For Dry Eye Treatment is quick, easy, safe and effective to use and is suitable for individuals who suffer from dry eyes as this unique gel works as a substitute for natural tears - to keep your eyes sufficiently lubricated all day long How Viscotears  works Viscotears liquid gel contains the active ingredient carbomer, which means that these eye drops work as “artificial tears”. Eye drops that work in this way hydrate dry eyes in the same way your natural tears would, making your eyes feel more comfortable and less irritated. Usage Before using this product, wash your hands thoroughly. Hold the tube of Viscotears eye drops vertically, with the dropper pointing downwards. Tilt your head backwards and use one hand to gently pull down the lower eyelid of the eye you wish to treat. Squeeze the tube of drops gently to insert one drop into your eye. Blink a few times to disperse the drops all over the eye and then wipe away any excess drops away from around the eyes. Repeat in the other eye if necessary. For best results, use one drop of this product in each eye, 3 – 4 times a day. Storage Store in a cool, dry place which is below 25 degrees. Store in original packaging and do not use if the expiry date printed on the packaging has passed. Once opened, use this product within 28 days. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Viscotears are not suitable for use by: Children under the age of 18. Do not use this product if you are allergic to carbomer or any of the other listed ingredients. This product should only be used in the eyes. If you experience any eye pain, vision changes, irritation, or persistent redness, or your condition becomes worse, stop using this product and speak to your doctor or pharmacist right away.

Kwells for Kids Pack of 12

Kwells for Kids Pack of 12

Kwells Kids tablets are used for the fast and effective prevention and control of travel sickness.  Travel sickness happens when the brain receives mixed messages.  Visual messages from the eyes inform the brain that the immediate surrounds are stationary, but a delicate balancing organ in the ear tells the brain that you are moving.  This conflicting information triggers the nausea we associate with travel sickness. The active substance in Kwells Kids tablets is hyoscine hydrobromide.  Hyoscine hydrobromide temporarily reduces the effect of movement on the balance organs of the inner ear and the nerves responsible for nausea. Because Kwells Kids tablets melt in the mouth, absorption into the bloodstream is very rapid and they can be taken up to 20-30 minutes before travelling or at the onset of sickness. Directions If Kwells Kids have been prescribed for your child by a doctor, follow instructions they may have given you.  If you purchase the product without a prescription, then follow these directions closely. The tablets can be sucked, chewed or swallowed.  They have a score line so they can be halved if necessary.  The tablets can be taken up to 30 minutes before travelling to prevent travel sickness or at the onset of nausea. Children over 10 years: Give your child one or 2 tablets every 6 hours, as required. Do not give your child this medicine more than 3 times in 24 hours. Children 4 to 10 years: Give your child half or one tablet every 6 hours, as required. Do not give your child this medicine more than 3 itmes in 24 hours. Kwells Kids tablets should not be given to children under 4 years of age. How to help avoid travel sickness Sit with your head tilted back to stabilise the balancing mechanism in the ear. Ensure the vehicle you are in is well ventilated. Try to have a clear view of the window. Have a bite to eat before the journey to help keep the stomach settled, but avoid greasy food. If you travel by car, take regular breaks for exercise, fresh air and refreshments. In an aeroplane, you can ease the pressure on your ears by sucking a boiled sweet during take off and landing. NEVER read. Avoid strong smelling food, smoke, perfume or petrol fumes.

Anusol Ointment 25g

Anusol Ointment 25g

Anusol Ointment relieves internal and external piles, anal itching and fissures (fissures refer to a split or crack in your skin). Apply morning and night, plus after each bowel movement as necessary. Anusol Ointment has a mild oily base which is useful when the skin is sore and dry. What are piles? Piles (haemorrhoids) are swollen blood vessels which occur inside or outside the back passage (anus). Symptoms Some people have piles without experiencing any symptoms, but sufferers may notice the following: Bleeding: Although streaks of bright red blood on the toilet paper are not uncommon in people with piles, it may be sign of a more serious condition and you should see your doctor to check this. Swelling: The swollen blood vessels may be felt as a lump or blockage in the anus. Pain, itching and irritation in the anal region. At least 40% of people suffer from piles at some time in their lives. However, many people are too embarrassed to seek advice or treatment and, as a result, suffer unnecessary discomfort. Fortunately, there is much you can do to ease the situation and relieve the symptoms. What causes piles? A number of factors can contribute to the development of piles: The most common cause is straining during bowel movement, usually as a result of constipation. During pregnancy, the growing baby exerts increased pressure on the anal vessels, which can lead to piles. Heredity: You may be more likely to develop piles if your family has a history of suffering. Healthy Tips for Piles Sufferers You can reduce the risk of piles by following a healthy diet and lifestyle that helps to keep your bowels working regularly and prevents constipation. This can also help to speed recovery from piles. Eat a high fibre diet including foods like brown rice, wholemeal bread, whole wheat pasta etc. Eat plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables and salads. Drink plenty of water. Don't eat too much salty, fatty or sugary foods such as crisps, burgers and cakes. Cut back on the amount of alcohol, tea and coffee you drink. Exercise regularly. A healthy diet and lifestyle will reduce the likelihood of constipation and encourage a regular bowel habit. Go to the toilet regularly and try to avoid straining. Leaning forward from the hips may help. For external and internal piles, Ointment can be used. If internal haemorrhoids are the problem, Suppositories deliver a measured dose to the affected area.
