Do You Still Think God Is Good? - Clayton Brumby - Bog - Morgan James Publishing llc - Plusbog.dk

What is evil really? Where does it come from? And if God is really God, why doesn''t he do more about it? This world is out of control-so violent, painful, unfair and destructive. Doesn''t God care? The Greek philosopher Epicurus is credited with saying: Either God wants to abolish evil and cannot; or he can but does not want to; or he cannot and does not want to. If he wants to but cannot, he is impotent. If he can and does not want to, he is wicked. But if God both can and wants to abolish evil, then how comes evil in the world? This is known as the Epicurean paradox. Obviously, mankind has been wrestling with the problem of evil for some time; Epicurus lived between 340-270 BC. Fast-forward twenty-three hundred years. Eric Jennings is a freshman at the University of Florida. He and his older sister, Libby, have moved in from themission field to enter the premed program to become medical missionaries. Eric''s roommate, Todd Rehnquist, though a baseball teammate and a good friend, isan atheist. And he poses the "problem" to Eric using an interesting quote. This sets in motion a conversation between Eric, Todd, Libby, Ray Cohen, theJennings'' former science teacher, and Mike Murphy, a local youth minister and one of Eric''s spiritual mentors. The conversation happens at an areabreakfast haunt, the Gator Skillet. Follow them as they wrestle with this most profound of issues and connect the dots. You''ll find that the answers are assimple as they are surprising.

When Our Leaders Do Bad Things - Mangal Dan Dipty - Bog - Morgan James Publishing llc - Plusbog.dk

When Our Leaders Do Bad Things - Mangal Dan Dipty - Bog - Morgan James Publishing llc - Plusbog.dk

When Our Leaders Do Bad Things was written to young students and professionals who desire to be our future leaders, priests, and celebrities to bring them more awareness of the significant human weaknesses of ignorance, forgetfulness, and sleepiness. This information aims to help them be aware and constantly prepared so they can avoid mistakes that might cost them their jobs and relationships as well as recognition and prestige. The book also was written to help laypersons that are interested in acquiring wisdom and knowledge about the skills they need to succeed. There are three psychological power tools presented here: The three-dimensional thinking: a decision-making tool. The biological stress defense mechanism: a tool for taking action immediately Understanding and applying these first two tools can help individuals choose the best course of action in the midst of emotional confusion, a common plight among leaders and those who live in the limelight. The negative thinking: a precious tool to control passion, addiction, and other emotions such as greed and lust and counterproductive behavior. These tools not only help individuals make the best decisions and take right actions, they also can help them extinguish anger, frustration, and stress. In addition, this book provides information about styles of communication and ways to enhance one’s communication skill. This book is not designed to treat any psychological disorder or to provide any therapeutic treatment. It was written for healthy, intelligent individuals who desire to increase their knowledge and be successful in every part of their lives. “Help other people in your chosen field and discover a fortune for yourself”-Dr. Dipty
