Processor Requirements for a Reconfigurable Airborne Sensor Pod - James J Bieryla
The main objective of this research was to determine an optimum processing system for the RASCAL (Reconfigurable Airborne Sensor, Communication and Laser) pod being developed by the United States Air Force Test Pilot School at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Further goals were to examine the peripheral equipment that integrates most efficiently with the processor and the host sensor equipment. To meet these goals, pertinent information regarding the pod features and the required mission characteristics..
