The “Stay Tuned—Pop & Jazz” duets stem from a collaboration with the trumpeter Thomas Gansch. These duets are not only available for trumpets, however. The pop & jazz duets are also available for trumpet with trombone, two trombones, horn, two saxophones at the same pitch, alto and tenor sax, two flutes, two clarinets and for flute with clarinet!
Written in funk, pop and swing styles, these compositions are certain to offer a challenge to any musician aiming to achieve a stylistically faithful performance. Coming soon—play along tracks for the duets on Spotify, YouTube and other social media. So, stay tuned!
Wind instruments in music schools and wind orchestras are currently playing in smaller groups. Since rehearsals of our entire wind classes, youth bands and wind orchestras are likely to be replaced by those of smaller ensembles in the coming months, the new ensemble pieces from the newly founded Symphonic Dimensions Publishing (exclusively distributed by Hal Leonard) have arrived right on cue!
