Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is a spin off of the Tomb Raider series, which is a continuation of the action adventure game Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light from 2010. A production created by the Crystal Dynamics team, known e.g. from the "big" installments of Lara Croft's adventures, it focuses on cooperative fun for up to four people. The action takes us to Egypt. Upon entering one of the tombs, Carter accidentally launches a trap that unleashes the evil god Set and places a curse on Lara Croft and the culprit of all the commotion.
At the same time, Horus and Isis - the son and wife of the god Osiris - are awakened from sleep. Since only he can lift the curse and stop Set from destroying the world, gods and humans join forces and embark on an amazing, dangerous adventure to resurrect Osiris and defeat Set. On their way, they will meet numerous ancient traps, as well as monsters known from myths and legends. The game is intended primarily for four people cooperating with each other during subsequent missions. Players take on the role of Lara, Carter, Isis and Horus. However, the gameplay has been enriched with competition, because while exploring the next rooms, you can find valuable artifacts and items that strengthen the character we lead. However, they are not assigned to all players, so it is not uncommon to choose what matters more - a better result or loyalty to other people? The graphics have the same style as Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The action is therefore observed from a camera located above the heads of the heroes. The creators took care of, among others o a system of dynamically changing weather conditions.
