Contagion is made in the FPS horror convention. This is the first commercial project of Monochrome Games - the team known for creating the popular Zombie Panic mod! Gameplay The game is the spiritual heir of the above-mentioned modification, and just like it, it focuses on battles with zombies hungry for human brains. The main actors of this drama are Eugene and Marcus - heroes known from mod, who are real specialists in depriving the undead of desire and the possibility of further movement. Contagion has a heavy atmosphere and an extensive storyline. We are thrown in the middle of an infection that turns ordinary people into monsters, and our main goal is simply to survive. It will not be easy, because ammunition crates are not a common sight here, as in classic survival-horror games, and each cartridge is worth its weight in gold. During the adventure, we will face not only classic zombies, but also unusual varieties of them (including rotten puppies). The implementation of the mission is facilitated by a large arsenal of murder tools, and the fun is made even more pleasant by the atmospheric soundtrack that helps to draw the player deeper into the game world. Everything is built on the basis of the latest version of the Source engine and is equipped with both a multiplayer mode and a full-scale singleplayer campaign. Especially the latter is happy, because most commercial games that are continuations of mods are limited only to multiplayer games.
